If I like my Stomp Classic most it's only because it is like a baby Conn. The Strobostomp is a tremendous tuner and the display (once you get the colour right) is arguably clearer than the Stomp Classic. It is certainly streets ahead of the V-Sam which I also own and like, mainly for the built-in mic.

I'm using the StroboStomp HD mostly to tune a 34 string Irish Harp (fitted with a pickup). It reads the pitches very quickly! (which can be a bit frustrating on other kinds of tuners) Highly recommended!

I’m a bassist and guitarist with 30 years of playing, and I’ve used all kinds of tuners. The last 12 years, I’ve had a different tuner on my board (not mentioning names, but it rhymes with Borg SwitchBack). I’d been eyeing the StroboStomp HD for a couple years, as I had purchased and been using (and loving) the iStroboSoft app on my iPhone and iPad for a while now, and finally took the plunge last night and bought the HD at my local shop. I wanted to see for myself if it was really worth the extra money and truly had better accuracy.
After customizing it using the Connect App and choosing the colors and tuning presets I wanted (which was super-simple), my first order of business was to re-intonate my main guitar that I’d made numerous attempts to intonate with my previous tuner, but could never get spot-on.
WOW!!! After using the StroboStomp HD to intonate the guitar and retune, it plays FLAWLESSLY all the way up and down the neck. My guitar has NEVER been this easy to play; even aft ...
